Virginia Ferrante is an outstanding Medical Illustrator. Her vivid and clear renderings of complex concepts can be seen on journal covers, in books and on the web. A freelance artist with an international clientele, Ms. Ferrante earned her BA from Parsons School of Design, NYC and her MA in Medical Illustration from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore. She has been Chief Medical Illustrator at The Hospital for Special Surgery, NY. Her work with CPEM, The Center for Pediatric Emergency Med., Bellevue Hosp., NYC is viewable at cpem.org.
